The Functional Technique Course is an excellent approach to treating pelvic, thoracic cage, and spinal dysfunction. Led by experienced Physical Therapist and Canadian Trained Osteopath Tim Bonack PT, DOMP(C), DScO, you will gain insight and skills in treating the everyday and more challenging patient alike.
In this class you’ll learn how to assess and treat movement restrictions and dysfunctions in the sacrum, ilia, lumbar, thoracic cage; as well as the entire spine. Functional technique focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of pain and limited mobility, helping you achieve better balance, alignment, and flexibility. This method uses segmental motion evaluation to name joint restrictions and apply gentle body assisted mobilization techniques to restore proper structural mobility. This technique can be applied to any patient, but is especially helpful in patients who do not tolerate more direct or aggressive manual therapies.
Participants will gain valuable skills that can be applied immediately, allowing them to create personalized treatment plans that lead to lasting improvements in mobility and overall wellness. These Functional Technique Courses are not just about learning; they are about applying what you learn right away. They are perfect for a variety of manual therapists seeking to treat their patients with body friendly techniques for both the patient and the therapist.
Learn how to stand out to your patients and your peers, as you learn this new magical treatment method and get these more chronic patients pain free.
